Our Team

Christina Leitzel, BCO, BADO

Christina brings a wealth of knowledge and artistic skill to the center. She began her career on the East Coast in Philadelphia, where she worked closely with many distinguished ophthalmologists, including Drs. Carol and Jerry Shields at Wills Eye Hospital and Drs. Bill and James Katowitz at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Driven by a strong desire to expand her expertise, Christina later relocated to the West Coast to further her studies and professional development. Her diverse background adds a new dimension to the center, including hands on experience with cutting edge technology in pediatric care and development. In 2025, she worked closely with OcuCast to help create the first U.S. based 3D printed prosthetic eye, which was unveiled at the International Anaplastology Conference in Belgium.
